Owner | Esthetician
I am the grateful and joyful creator of Opal Gene Skincare, and I’ve had the honor of working as an esthetician and makeup artist for over 25 years. Born and raised in the Boise area, this community is truly home to me. There is something so special about serving the very place that shaped me, and I cherish the connections I’ve built with clients over the years—many of whom I’m lucky enough to now call dear friends.
Whether I’m performing the simplest brow wax, delivering a transformative microneedling treatment, answering thoughtful skincare questions, or coordinating facials for an entire wedding party, every moment feels meaningful. I genuinely love what I do. Helping someone feel confident in their skin, relaxed in their body, and radiant in their own beauty never gets old—it continues to inspire me every single day.
Opening my own spa has been a dream in my heart for many years. To now see Opal Gene Skin Studio come to life—and to fill it with our Opal Gene Skincare products, thoughtfully created and carefully curated—feels incredibly rewarding. Training our team to practice with both skill and heart, and building a space rooted in excellence, warmth, and integrity, has been one of my proudest accomplishments. I am beyond excited to offer Opal Gene Skin Studio to the Treasure Valley and to continue serving this beautiful community with passion, gratitude, and joy.

I’m a licensed esthetician who’s all about real results, thoughtful precision, and creating a space where you can truly exhale the moment you walk in. I believe skincare should be both effective and grounding, so every service I offer is designed with intention and attention to detail. I specialize in customized facials, acne-safe and gentle corrective treatments, and advanced modalities like high frequency—always tailoring each session to meet your skin exactly where it is.
I’m also passionate about detailed face and body waxing and creating beautifully clean, effortless looks with lash lifts and tints. I have a meticulous eye and a steady hand, and I genuinely enjoy the artistry that comes with refining and enhancing natural features. My goal is to blend deep relaxation with effective, results-driven techniques so you leave feeling lighter, clearer, confident, and truly taken care of.
For me, it’s about more than just great skin—it’s about giving you a reset. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, learning about your skin, and trusting that you’re in capable hands.
Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me exploring new skincare innovations and techniques, spending quality time out with my family and friends, or recharging with a little self-care of my own. Continuing to learn and pouring back into myself helps me show up fully for every client I serve.

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician for 13 years, and caring for women through skincare has truly become my passion. Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with creating a warm, welcoming space where busy women—especially fellow moms—can step away from their endless to-do lists and simply breathe. I know how easy it is to put yourself last, and it means so much to me to offer a place where you can relax, recharge, and feel genuinely cared for.

Whether you’re brand new to facials or focused on maintaining healthy, glowing, age-defying skin, my approach is always gentle, personalized, and thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs. I believe skincare should feel nurturing, not overwhelming. I take the time to listen, educate, and guide you so you leave not only feeling pampered, but also confident and empowered in how to care for your skin at home. My goal is for every visit to feel like a reset—where you’re supported, uplifted, and reminded that taking care of yourself is never selfish.

When I’m not in the treatment room, I love off-roading and making memories with my family, browsing antique shops in search of hidden treasures, tending to my garden, and baking something sweet in the kitchen. These simple joys fill my cup—and allow me to pour even more care and intention into every client I serve.

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
I specialize in deeply relaxing neck, shoulder, and head massages, and I’m known for my calming presence and reassuring touch that immediately puts my clients at ease. From the moment you settle onto the table, my intention is for you to feel safe, supported, and able to exhale fully. I take pride in creating an experience that feels unhurried and intentional, allowing tension to melt away layer by layer.
I became an LMT because I’m truly devoted to creating spaces where people can let go of stress and reconnect with their bodies in a meaningful way. In a world that constantly demands more from us, I believe it’s essential to have a place where you can simply be. With every session, my goal is to help my clients feel cared for, supported, and deeply seen—not just physically, but holistically.
I want each person on my table to feel like someone genuinely has their back—and my nurturing nature ensures they do. I strive to create a sanctuary for healing, a space where you can step out of fight-or-flight mode and settle into a state of ease and balance. I believe that even one hour of stillness can create a powerful ripple effect in someone’s life, restoring clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of connection to yourself.
Michelle - Myofascial, Therapeutic, Deep Tissue
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
I have been a licensed massage therapist for 15 years, and I bring with me a wide range of certifications and advanced training from Florida. Over the years, I’ve continued to expand my skills and deepen my understanding of the body so I can offer sessions that are both therapeutic and truly restorative. My experience allows me to intuitively tailor each massage to exactly what your body needs in that moment.

That extra time gives me the opportunity to really work with your muscles, fascia, joints, and overall movement patterns, creating a session that feels thorough, intentional, and deeply rejuvenating. When I’m not in the treatment room, I cherish spending time with my mom and brothers, making memories and enjoying simple moments together. I also love exploring all that Idaho has to offer, from its beautiful scenery to its hidden gems.
